SomosSalsa is operated by GuatCloud, an independent project active in Guatemala. GuatCloud manages the processing of information received through somossalsa.com.

For privacy questions, corrections, or requests related to your data, email info@somossalsa.com.

We also organize information published for promotion by organizers, academies, artists, festivals, and venues on official websites, social media, or promotional material shared directly. We do not assume that everything in an account or private conversation is public.

If you represent a person or organization mentioned and want information corrected or removed, email info@somossalsa.com.

Forms may use Google Gemini to extract details from a flyer or promotional text. Analysis may detect artists, academies, organizers, or venues and flag them for admin review. AI does not publish profiles or relationships on its own.

Do not submit private documents, passwords, financial data, or sensitive information that is unnecessary for promoting an activity or profile.

Forms may keep a draft of fields and text in your browser's local storage for seven days to help recover your work. Images are not kept in that draft. Nothing is submitted for publication until you press the submit button.

• Review, publish, and maintain events, festivals, academies, artists, and venues.
• Connect activities to responsible parties and locations when the match can be verified.
• Prevent duplicates, investigate errors, protect the service, and respond to requests.
• Measure site usage and improve the experience when you accept analytics.
• Display and measure advertising that helps fund the site.

We do not sell your personal information. We use providers that process data under their own terms and policies to operate the service:

• Supabase for databases, image storage, and backend services.
• Vercel for hosting, distribution, and technical application logs.
• Google for Gemini, Analytics, and AdSense.

These providers may process information in countries other than your own. We use available settings and reasonable measures to limit processing to what is necessary.

Promotional information that is submitted and approved may be shown publicly, including professional names, images, schedules, locations, and contact methods. Before submitting someone else's information, confirm that you have permission to share it.

We retain submissions, publications, and operational records while needed to review content, maintain useful references, handle requests, or protect the service. Some past events may remain as a historical archive. We use reasonable security measures, but no internet-connected system can guarantee zero risk.

• You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted or that publicly identifies you.
• You may decline Google Analytics from the privacy notice. The choice is stored in your browser.

SomosSalsa is not specifically directed at children and does not knowingly request private information from them. If you believe information about a child was published without permission, contact us so we can review it.

We may update this policy when the service, its providers, or applicable requirements change. The new revision date will be published on this page.
